Job description

About Us:
Endpoint is an interactive response technology (IRT®) systems and solutions provider that supports the life sciences industry. Since 2009, we have been working with a single vision in mind, to help sponsors and pharmaceutical companies achieve clinical trial success. Our solutions, realized through the proprietary PULSE® platform, have proven to maximize the supply chain, minimize operational costs, and ensure timely and accurate patient dosing. Endpoint is headquartered in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina with offices across the United States, Europe, and Asia.
Position Overview:
The Business Development Intern will support the Sales teams to help us nurture client relationships, build trust with sponsors/CROs, and convert qualified opportunities into revenue. They will partner closely with Marketing to deliver a healthy, full-funnel motion aligned to our 2026 business goals.
This role requires the intern to be based out of East Coast
Responsibilities:
  • Pipeline & Prospecting
    • Research target accounts (new logos, sponsors, CROs) and map buying process. Run multi-touch outreach (email, LinkedIn, phone) to create sales-qualified meetings (SQMs).
    • Qualify inbound leads; run discovery and schedule demos.
  • Relationship Nurturing & Trust Building
    • Maintain consistent, value-led touchpoints with prospects and existing accounts. Share relevant case studies, thought leadership, and product updates.
    • Partner with Account Management on warm expansions and renewals. Document stakeholder maps and next steps in CRM.
  • Marketing Partnership (Full-Funnel)
    • Collaborate with Marketing on ABM lists, campaign messaging, and event plans. Provide field feedback on personas, objections, and content needs.
    • Execute post-campaign and post-event follow-ups with SLAs (e.g., <48 hours to first touch, sequenced multi-step nurtures).
  • Event & Brand Ambassador
    • Represent Endpoint at key industry conferences (e.g., SCOPE, DIA, OCT, USIRT); staff the booth, deliver product talking points, capture and qualify leads, and drive disciplined post-event conversion.
  • Product & Market Fluency
    • Build working knowledge of IRT/RTSM workflows (randomization schemes, drug accountability, sponsor/CRO interactions) and how we integrate with them with our products.
    • Track competitor positioning and industry trends. Translate insights into sharper talk tracks and outreach.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Maintain impeccable CRM hygiene (Salesforce): contacts, activities, stages, next steps, forecast notes.
    • Report weekly on funnel health (new leads, SQMs, meeting-to-opportunity conversion, pipeline created $).

Education:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or a related field.

Experience:
  • Previous sales or marketing internships or related credentials are preferred.
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Attentive listening skills
  • Interest in sales, marketing, digital tools, and sales processes.

Learning Opportunities
  • Gain exposure to sales/marketing automation tools, CRM systems, SalesQL, Global Data, and analytics platforms.
  • Learn how marketing and sales strategies align with broader business objectives.
  • Participate in research on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Develop communication and consultative selling skills.

$20 - $30 an hour
Benefits:
