Job description

Position Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Manager will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer and the Home Office team to ensure the highest level of financial reporting is provided, financial wellbeing of each community is reached, and business goals are met in accordance with state and government regulations. The Accounts Receivable Manager's primary focus is ensuring that revenue cycle accounting records are maintained, with an emphasis on building and maintaining the culture established by the CEO of Oaks Senior Living, LLC. The general responsibility of the Accounts Receivable Manager is to assist the Chief Financial Officer in execution and oversight of revenue cycle transactions. The Accounts Receivable Manager will have to be trained to operate in various platforms including accounting software, Point Click Care Software, Payroll Platform, HR Benefits Platform and others.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Drive success and development of AR/Payroll department
2. Close revenue from PCC
3. Preparation and importing of journal entries related to revenue cycle and payroll
4. Credit refunds for move-outs
5. Post payments to PCC
6. Field billing questions from communities/families
7. Review work of Accounts Receivable Coordinator(s) for accuracy
8. Other duties as assigned
Knowledge Requirements
1. State and Federal laws and regulations
2. Oaks Senior Living, LLC Policy and Procedures
3. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred but not required
2. Maintain knowledge of federal and state laws and GAAP
3. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Strong customer service skills
4. Proven business acumen
5. Must be 21 years of age. Must have a satisfactory criminal history and fingerprint check
7. Must have physical exam by a licensed physician/Must have a negative drug screen
8. Must be available and able to react in an emergency
Physical Job Requirements
To fulfill job requirements, employee must be able to perform key physical task for extended periods of time. Proper body mechanics and safety measures as prescribed by Oaks Senior Living, LLC must be adhered to. In a typical eight- hour day, employee may:
1. Sit up to eight hours a day
2. Support up to 70 pounds
3. Lift/carry up to 50 pounds
4. Frequently kneel, bend, and reach
