About This Role

This position requires a professionally prepared educator of young children, with a particular emphasis on Early Childhood. A sensitive and mature individual, capable of relating effectively to both children and adults, is sought. Leadership and stability are essential qualities for ensuring program continuity.


What You'll Do
  • Implement and supervise the program for the class, tailored to the age and abilities of the children and adhering to Blue Giraffe policies.
  • Ensure the classroom maintains an ordered arrangement, appearance, decor, cleanliness, and learning environment that fosters growth.
  • Supervise assistant(s) assigned to the room, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Attend faculty meetings and in-service programs to stay updated on best practices.
  • Provide a safe and healthy environment for the children, prioritizing their well-being and safety.
  • Contribute to special programs, open house, and other center-wide initiatives, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to the team's success.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and demonstrate loyalty to the center, upholding its values and mission.

Requirements

Associates Degree in Education or Related Field; or

Bachelor's Degree in Education or Related Field; or

CDA - Completed or in Progress

Preference will be given to candidates who are CPR and First AID Certified.
