Job Summary
Big Sandy Community a & Technical College is seeking a cashier for the East Kentucky Science Center to ring up customers, enter accurate information in the payment terminal, wrap up purchases and provide friendly customer service to encourage patrons to return.
Job Duties:
  • Sale of tickets for admission to the building.
  • Sale of gift shop items.
  • Assist in the inventory process at least 2x a year.
  • Help keep gift shop items stocked on the shelves.
  • Feed and care for the animals at the East Kentucky Science Center when needed.
  • Assist in the classroom or exhibit hall when needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Friendly, Courteous, Helpful
  • Willing to work as part of a team.
  • Need to be able to work on computer.
  • Accountability & accuracy is a must when dealing with monies.
  • Willingness to accept instruction.
  • Previous sales experience is a plus.
  • Available to work on Saturday.
