Job description

POSITION: DONOR INFO/ PROSPECTOR SPECIALIST
DEPARTMENT: FOUNDATION OPERATING
SHIFT: 8AM TO 4:30PM
STATUS: FULL TIME
FACILITY: MIAMI VALLEY HOSPITAL
Participates both directly and indirectly in fundraising to benefit Miami Valley Hospital programs and services, reporting to the Director of Operations. Administers donor database including gift management and acknowledgement. Updates and maintains database information. Prepares statistical reports and queries for donor information management. Strategically analyzes and proposes opportunities from the database to management. Researches and identifies prospects including public, private and government funding sources. Prepares financial reports for the finance and hospital departments. Processes requests for disbursements of Foundation's temporarily restricted funds and operating budget. Serves as an active team member, participating in event planning and implementation, strategic planning, priority setting, resource utilization, process improvement activities and gift solicitation. Communicates with all departments of the hospital, hospital patients as necessary, and donors and their families. Greets visitors and provides back up to executive assistant. Participates in special projects as they arise.Associate degree
