Centra has an exciting opportunity for a Member Operations Senior Card Services Specialist Specialist in Columbus, Indiana. The Member Operations Senior Card Services Specialist is responsible for assisting the management team with overseeing the efficient and effective management of the Card Services department. This position assists the Member Operations Card Services Manager with Team Member development, coaching and counseling, and training. The Member Operations Senior Card Services Specialist also provides management of all programs under Card Services, manages vendor relationships, performs as the Card Services lead for assigned projects, performs quality and control reviews, manages card base and keeps data clean, leads department meetings.

Essential Functions: This position may be required to perform additional duties as requested. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform.
  • Oversees and manages Card Services programs including Gift Card, Instant Issue, Credit Card, Debit/ATM Card and IRA Programs as well as ATM and Interactive Teller Machine maintenance and cash management. Process in a backup capacity when needed.
  • Manages vendor relationships, problem resolution/open cases with vendors as needed. Performs quality reviews for department and branches. Manages card base to keep clean data. Provides support for Branch and Contact Center Teams. Collaborates with Loss Prevention Solutions to detect and prevent card fraud.
  • Communicates, facilitates, and manages responses to Team Members questions or identifies areas of needed education through a variety of communication tools including email, intranet communications, training, and team meetings. Assists in the coaching and training of Member Operations Card Services Specialists in this area of responsibility.
  • Leads projects assigned to help identify and assist in the development and implementation of process improvements within the department. Assists management with project work related to new products, services or upgrades to existing products and services. Escalates issues through the appropriate channels and follows up with additional results and findings.
  • Manages and approves timecards, Team Member time off requests and oversees overtime. Acts as point of contact for Card Services Support Specialists for escalated issues and brings issues to Card Services Manager as needed.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE - (Equivalent combination of Education & Experience will be considered.)
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
  • A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
