Position Overview:

  • We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our machining team. This role will be responsible for programming, setting up, and optimizing CNC machines to produce high-precision parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming, CAD/CAM software, and an ability to interpret complex blueprints and models.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and optimize CNC programs for multi-axis mills, lathes, and machining centers.
  • Translate engineering drawings, models, and specifications into efficient machining processes.
  • Select appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, and cutting paths to maximize efficiency and part quality.
  • Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and project managers to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Perform first article inspections and validate accuracy of parts to specifications.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues, adjust programs, and recommend process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of programs, tooling setups, and job documentation.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years CNC programming experience in a production or job-shop environment (multi-axis preferred).
  • Proficiency with Mastercam, GibbsCAM, or similar CAD/CAM software.
  • Strong knowledge of G-code, machine controls (Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, or Mazak), and machining best practices.
