We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Career Counselor to support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving meaningful employment. In this vital role, you will work closely with clients to identify their strengths, provide job readiness training, facilitate smooth transitions from the job training center to the workplace, and offer ongoing on-the-job support. If you are committed to empowering others and fostering inclusive work environments, we invite you to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess clients' job-related skills, strengths, and areas for development
- Develop personalized employment plans and provide job readiness training
- Assist clients in transitioning from training programs to competitive employment settings
- Offer on-the-job coaching and support to ensure successful job retention
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and update client case files regularly
- Collaborate with employers, training centers, and support teams to facilitate client employment success
- Perform administrative duties related to client records and service documentation
Skills and Qualifications:
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Valid Driver's License in good standing with at least 5 years of driving experience
- Reliable vehicle in good working condition
