Job description

Small rural Critical Access Hospital located in White Sulphur Springs, MT- Full of western flavor and small-town appeal, this town welcomes visitors with mineralized hot springs, for which the town was named. It is the gateway to fishing on the Smith River (by permit only), home to "the Castle" mansion and the weathered homes and outbuildings of the ghost town of Castle. This community sits in the heart of excellent hunting, hiking, fishing and camping. Winter Recreation is plentiful - Ski Hill is 30 minutes away, cross country ski trails and snowmobiling opportunities. Located in central MT which easily allows for day trips to surrounding cities and areas. ACLS, BLS, PALS required. TNCC preferred. We are looking for an experienced RN who will be confidently able to work in ER and acute care. Must be experienced and able to triage in ER. Will be in charge of CNA and other nurse. Must be a team player and willing to pitch in and help fellow nurse. Does require quite a bit of help on LTC including rounds and toileting at night. Each shift is staffed with 1 RN, 1 LPN, and 1 CNA. Very low ER census (1-2 patients a shift). Very low hospital census 1-2 Inpatients. Orientation to take place7/16,7/17, 7/18. 7 on 7 off Night shift schedule to start 7/22.
