LOCATION: Sumter, SC, USA


Overview:


The Logistics Specialist will support the coordination of Import and Export logistics, warehousing, and distribution activities for eVAC Magnetics, ensuring materials and finished goods move efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with applicable regulations to support manufacturing operations.


This role will partner closely with production, procurement, quality, and supply chain teams to maintain effective material flow. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on logistics experience and a willingness to grow in import/export compliance through structured training, including potential training at our headquarters in Hanau, Germany.



Key Responsibilities


  • Coordinate daily inbound and outbound logistics, including raw materials, components, and finished goods
  • Support warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping activities
  • Ensure timely and accurate movement of materials to support production and customer delivery requirements
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing shipping and customs documentation (commercial invoices, certificates of origin, etc.)
  • Support import/export processes to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company standards
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and suppliers to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation
  • Track shipments and resolve issues related to delays, damages, or discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and reconciliation activities
  • Support the implementation and use of ERP/WMS systems to track material movement and logistics activity
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to align logistics activities with production and supply chain needs
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to material flow, packaging, and logistics processes
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards

  • Participate in a structured training program focused on import/export compliance and international logistics

Qualifications & Experience


  • Associate’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, warehousing, or distribution
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of transportation, inventory management, and warehouse operations
  • Exposure to import/export processes is a plus; willingness to learn is required
  • Experience with ERP and/or WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, QAD, or similar) preferred
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
