About the role
Reporting to the North America General Manager, the Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Operations will lead Wolverine's NA inbound-to-outbound supply chain operations, spanning material planning and scheduling, production scheduling, logistics, and material handling and data integrity. This role sets the strategic direction for the Materials Planning, Production Scheduling, and Logistics teams, ensures the necessary materials and capacity are in place to support production, and drives on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and process improvement across the supply chain. Purchasing and supplier sourcing are managed by a separate Purchasing function, with which this role coordinates closely.
This role is located on-site in Blacksburg, VA.
What you'll do
• Set the strategic direction for our Materials Planning, Production Scheduling, and Logistics teams
• Own the production scheduling process and drive on-time delivery and inventory accuracy
• Lead key inputs into our Supply Review, Demand Review, and Executive Management Review meetings as part of the S&OP process
• Manage, coach, and develop a team that includes subordinate supervisors
• Partner closely with Purchasing on sourcing and material availability for new product launches
• Drive continuous improvement across ERP systems, data integrity, and supply chain processes

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required; business-related field preferred
• 10+ years in Materials Management, Production Scheduling, or Supply Chain Operations, including leadership experience (automotive industry a plus)
• APICS or other Supply Chain certification
• Strong grasp of lean manufacturing and Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
• A track record of building high-performing teams and driving results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Salary Range: $120,000-$150,000
