Technical Project Manager

As a Technical Project Manager, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery for the system integration of complex technical projects. You will bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, compliant, with high quality that aligns with our strategic goals.

Key Activities
  • On time execution, planning and management of all internal engineering activities of our challenging international projects
  • Implementation of the Customer requirements specification in compliance with industry standards, regulations and national requirements
  • Responsible for the conceptualization as well as preparation of technical specifications, production documents, test plans, type tests and documentation amp; training documents.
  • Management of the project team, which consists of Project Managers Engineering and Lead Project Engineers for various disciplines.
  • Lead in Customer support and communication in close collaboration with the Commercial Project Manager
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (mechanical or electrical) or equivalent training
  • PMP preferred
  • Training in business administration preferred
  • 5+ years experience in the field of rail vehicle, defense, aerospace, automotive or equivalent
  • Experience in leading challenging projects in an international environment
  • Team player with excellent social skills, sense of responsibility and assertiveness
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and acting
  • Structured, goal-oriented, dynamic and loyal personality
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Business fluent in English (required) and German (preferred at least B1 level)
