Step into Your New Role 

Kleinfelder is currently seeking candidates for a Geotechnical Intern in our Salt Lake City, Utah, office.

The ideal Intern candidate will be able to follow proper procedures, perform accurate computations, and build strong working relationships with coworkers.  

Responsibilities would include:

  • Continuously interact with and learn from junior and senior level technical staff.
  • Prepare evaluations, calculations, reports, drawings and specifications.
  • Assist with field assignments including exploration, sampling and observation.
  • Contribute to writing technical reports, correspondence and proposals; and
  • Assist with the administration and coordination of various projects.

Qualifications:

  • Working towards a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in civil, geotechnical, environmental Engineering or construction management required.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, ArcGIS, and/or Microsoft Office is preferred.

Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.
