Geotechnical Intern

Orlando, Florida, United States

Whitestone Associates, Inc. is a 100% employee-owned Geotechnical and Environmental consulting firm with offices throughout the eastern United States. This is a fall internship running from September through December, with flexible hours based on your availability and our project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Soil laboratory testing and coordination;
  • Assisting with materials testing in our on-site laboratory;
  • Geotechnical site research;
  • Some field construction phase testing and inspection; and
  • Assisting with soil boring and/or test pit investigations.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering; and
  • Ideally candidates will have taken and passed a Soils Laboratory class.

Hourly Pay Range

$20 - $22 USD
