Job description

Wilson & Company is currently seeking a Bridge National Practice Leader to manage our public and private infrastructure structural design teams. The ideal candidate is experienced in leading team operations, technically proficient in structural engineering in the railroad bridge and/or public sectors and has strong communication and organizational skills and ability to collaborate with others to support the goals of Company.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Mentors, collaborates, and oversees Bridge Regional Practice Leads and supporting project managers and staff.
  • Function as a technical leader to facilitate the professional development of engineering staff.
  • Direct, plan, and coordinate the team utilization and financial metrics within the Structures Bridge team.
  • Develop and review proposals, in collaboration with other team members, to determine project requirements, schedules, budgets, and staffing needs to win the project.
  • Direct, plan, and coordinate activities of personnel to ensure that standards, schedules, budgets, and quality expectations are met.
  • Monitor and update the pursuit pipeline, operational labor backlog, and projected staff assignments and utilization.
  • Working collaboratively with managers across different business groups to meet marketing, sales, staffing, and project delivery goals.
  • Travel will be necessary.

Salary Range: $165,000 - $225,000+ (depending on experience)

Job Location: Phoenix, AZ
