Job Description

Position Summary 

The Intelligence Analyst is responsible for monitoring the safety and security of our client's employees and assets worldwide, reporting directly to the embedded Team Lead. 

In this role, you will assist Regional Intelligence Analysts in producing finished intelligence products for the APAC, EMEA, LATAM, and/or UCAN regions. These products inform business decision-makers and support incident management for the client's internal operations. You will also engage directly with stakeholders to interpret requirements, provide immediate support and consulting, and leverage additional resources from the core Sibylline team. 

This is a cross-functional position that partners closely with other teams and corporate stakeholders. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to collect intelligence and track threats and geopolitical developments that directly or indirectly impact the client's assets, personnel, and global interests. You must be within commuting distance to the greater LA area/Southern California to be available for on-site support as requested. 

Essential Functions / Responsibilities 

  • Maintaining situational awareness and collecting and analyzing information to ensure the safety and security of our client's people, buildings, and operations. 

  • Detecting and assessing threats and incidents and determining their impact on our client. 

  • Using open-source intelligence (OSINT) sources and internal databases to produce tactical intelligence. 

  • Using OSINT sources and internal databases to conduct investigations into persons of interest. 

  • Writing and distributing notifications and daily and weekly products. 

  • Assisting in the management of incidents and emergencies at the client's sites around the globe. 

  • Triaging incidents and threats quickly and effectively. 

  • Monitoring company events and the safety of employees. 

  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

  • Proven ability to produce high-quality intelligence products under tight deadlines, while maintaining long-term strategic assessments. 

  • Strong analytical and research skills, with native-level English proficiency and the ability to write and edit quickly and accurately. 

  • Deep understanding of  global geopolitical, security, and social dynamics; fluency in regional languages is a plus. 

  • Experience working independently and managing sensitive investigations with minimal supervision. 

  • Skilled in collaborating across service functions (e.g., IT, HR, Legal) and thriving in multicultural environments. 

  • High integrity, initiative, and attention to detail, especially when handling confidential information. 

  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in fast-paced settings. 

  • Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to tailor communications to diverse audiences. 

  • Comfortable with flexible scheduling and occasional off-hours teleconferencing. 

  • Advanced proficiency in GSuite and data analysis tools; capable of visualizing complex information effectively. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Security Studies, International Relations, Criminal Justice, Business Management, or a relevant field from an accredited college or university; or equivalent professional experience. Master's degree, preferred. 

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in fields such as global security, intelligence, research and analysis, or in a security operations center. 

  • Requires the ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as operational needs dictate. Schedule may include rotating shifts and on-call responsibilities to ensure continuous coverage. This is required during the training period. 

  • Foreign language proficiency a plus.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements 

This position is moderately self-directed and requires understanding and compliance with company policies, procedures, and values. The position works in an on-site office environment utilizing a computer and standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to interact collaboratively with the team and stakeholders, and communicate via phone, videophone, or text messaging. The employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The position may require travel up to 5%.
