Job description

Seeking an Engineering Technician to provide support to the DEVCOM team. The Engineering Technician will work closely with a team of engineering designers, drawing verifiers, and configuration management specialists. Candidate will generate 3D and 2D product data packages, incorporate engineering changes into drawings of legacy chem/bio systems, review data delivered to DEVCOM on contract, and provide subject matter expertise for developing enhancements to the organization's enterprise Product Data Management (ePDM) environment.

Other duties include but are not limited to:

  • Configuration Management (CM) workflows and responsibilities.
  • Apply DoD and Industry drawing standards.
  • Perform Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and manufacturing processes.
  • Application of enterprise Product Data Management (ePDM).
  • Manage the Configuration Control Board (CCB) process.
  • Modify and/or update Technical Data Packages (TDP).
  • CREO Experience a plus.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Minimum High School graduate with 3 years' experience withAutoCAD or SolidWorks.
  • Familiarity with configuration management workflows and responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Must be detailed oriented.
  • Adaptable to evolving requirements and changes in schedules.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate in a professional manner with co-workers and customers.
