Geolocation Operator / Analyst

Work Locations: Augusta, GA and San Antonio, TX (limited)
Clearance: TS/SCI w/Polygraph
Program: Contingent upon contract award

Position Summary: Altamira is looking for qualified candidates to fill multiple roles in support of a contingent program, primarily located in Augusta, GA (and limited roles in San Antonio, TX). Candidates must have certifications in various specialties, demonstrate technical abilities for direct mission support, and provide coverage for a 24/7, year-round workforce.

Position Description: Candidates will participate in direct, on-site, real-time operations using certified skills and knowledge in both active and passive geolocation methodologies for real-world SIGINT missions. All opportunities are listed below, along with applicable requirements.
Apprentice Geolocation Operator - Active
Required Qualifications:  The Apprentice Active Geolocation Operator will possess and carry out the following capabilities:

  • Two (2) years of relevant, operational experience within the last five (5) years
  • Experience conducting RF collection and/or Direction-Finding operations
  • Utilize customer tools and databases to acquire and analyze relevant data for intelligence production
  • Successfully complete initial active certification training within 30 days of assignment

Apprentice Geolocation Operator - Passive
Required Qualifications:  The Apprentice Passive Geolocation Operator will possess and carry out the following capabilities: 

  • Two (2) years of relevant, operational experience within the last five (5) years
  • Experience conducting RF collection and/or Direction-Finding operations
  • Utilize customer tools and databases to acquire and analyze relevant data for intelligence production
  • Successfully complete initial active certification training within 30 days of assignment 

Journeyman Geolocation Operator (India)
Required Qualifications: The Journeyman Geolocation Operator will possess the following capabilities: 

  • Current certifications in basic operations, passive and active geolocation methods, and technologies
  • Possess formal training and/or demonstrated proficiency in relevant foreign language(s)

Journeyman Geolocation Operator - Language (Lima)
Required Qualifications: The Language-Enabled Journeyman Geolocation Operator will possess the following capabilities: 

  • Current certifications in basic operations, passive geolocation methods, and technologies
  • ILR level-2 proficiency in a relevant foreign language(s)
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience in a combination of language processing competencies, including interpretation, translation, gisting, document analysis, teaching, or other skills related to intelligence analysis and production

Journeyman Geolocation Operator - Signals Analyst (Sierra)
Required Qualifications: The Journeyman Geolocation Operator Signals Analyst will possess the following capabilities: 

  • Current certifications in basic operations, passive geolocation methods, and technologies
  • Completion of either the Intermediate (451) or Advanced (452) Signals Analysis Course

Active Geolocation Senior Mentor
Required Qualifications: The Active Geolocation Senior Mentor will possess the following capabilities:

  • Five (5) years of operation and/or instruction experience within the last seven (7) years producing multi-mode precision geolocation solutions
  • Current or previous experience and instructor certification in one or more relevant geolocation technologies
  • Must hold an Active Operator Certification, or be eligible for recertification
  • Must obtain one Operator Instructor Certification within 30 days of assignment

Passive Geolocation Senior Mentor
Required Qualifications: The Passive Geolocation Senior Mentor will possess the following capabilities:

  • Five (5) years of operation and/or instruction experience within the last seven (7) years producing multi-mode precision geolocation solutions
  • Two (2) years of instructor experience or instructor certification in passive geolocation technologies and operations
  • Must hold a Passive Geolocation Certification, or be eligible for recertification
  • Must achieve Passive Geolocation Instructor Certification within 30 days of assignment

Mission Manager Senior Mentor
Required Qualifications: The Mission Manager Senior Mentor will possess the following capabilities:

  • Five (5) years of operation and/or instruction experience within the last seven (7) years producing multi-mode precision geolocation solutions
  • Current or previous experience and instructor certification in one or more relevant geolocation technologies

Collection/Reporting Senior Mentor
Required Qualifications: The Collection/Reporting Senior Mentor will possess the following capabilities:

  • Five (5) years of operation and/or instruction experience within the last seven (7) years producing multi-mode precision geolocation solutions, time-sensitive reporting, and other intelligence-community product reporting
  • Current or previous experience with time-sensitive reporting
  • Possesses knowledge and experience utilizing customer databases and multi-media reporting systems, and writing styles
  • Knowledge and experience in multi-technology geolocation operations and RF collection operations
