Job description

Fidelity Power Systems, one of the nation's largest distributors of Rehlko, previously Kohler, Generators and Power Systems, is seeking a seasoned Generator Technician to join our expanding team operating around the Greater Seaford area (based out of Seaford, DE)!
If you are highly skilled in troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing critical power equipment, YOU may be just who we are looking for!
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform preventative maintenance on standby generator systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair gas and diesel engines.
  • Troubleshoot electrical circuit boards.
  • Perform routine generator maintenance to include oil and filter change, fuel filter change, and cooling system services.
  • Troubleshoot complete electrical systems.
  • Work with customers on a one-on-one basis.
  • Complete and submit work orders and reports.
  • Prepare accurate quotes for repairs.
  • Maintain truck inventory.

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Vo-tech school or Military training, a plus.
  • John Deere, Cummins, and/or Caterpillar engine training is preferred.
  • Training on Automatic Transfer Switches.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
