Salary Range: $21-26/hr depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for implementing the design of job orders
  • Ensure materials are available for date of shipment, prepping and packaging for date of delivery
  • Complete maintenance of load sheets, labor forms and single lines to company standards
  • Follow production established schedule for hours worked
  • Work with office personnel to coordinate fuel deliveries, service and maintenance of generators
  • Perform minor repairs in the field per instruction from office personnel
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients and union personnel; Supervise union crew and labor crew when on site and learn union contract for the job’s venue
  • Understand the set-up and operation of parallel generators and Saunders’ UPS systems
  • Troubleshoots potential challenges and reports back to supervisor or Lead Show Tech with plan of action when issues arise
  • Provide maintenance to equipment, maintaining shop projects, assisting the rental department and meeting any other need that arises

Required Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of generators and diesel engines
  • Knowledge of UPS systems
  • Ability to interact professionally and positively with customers and co-workers at all times, including when under pressure
  • Must be energetic, enthusiastic and customer service driven
  • Clean driving record required
  • Able to travel via commercial airline when required
  • Present a polished, professional image to clients, vendors and others on the job site, including but not limited to clean company uniform or clothing, and generally accepted personal hygiene standards

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Ability to work prolonged hours, ability to be on the road for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, outdoors and to travel out of the state, potentially for extended periods of time.
  • Movements including but not limited to prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; talk; see; and/or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision to discern color-coded wiring.
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds at all times.
