In addition to HVAC, plumbing, and full electrical services, we are expanding our Whole Home Generator division and are looking for an experienced professional to help homeowners protect their families and homes with reliable backup power solutions.We are proud to have a 4.9-star Google rating with more than 5,100 reviews and continue to grow throughout Central Florida.About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced, full-time Whole Home Generator Sales, Installation & Service Specialist to join our team.This position combines whole home standby generator sales, installation, maintenance, and service. The ideal candidate has strong residential electrical knowledge, hands-on generator experience, and the ability to communicate technical information clearly with homeowners.You will work directly with customers to evaluate their backup power needs, recommend the right generator solution, professionally install and commission generator systems, and provide ongoing service to ensure dependable operation.Key ResponsibilitiesMeet with homeowners to assess their electrical system, backup power needs, and generator requirementsEducate customers on whole home standby generator options and recommend appropriate solutionsConduct in-home sales consultations and identify opportunities for generator installations, upgrades, and maintenance plansPerform residential whole home generator installations, including electrical connections, transfer switches, control wiring, and related componentsPerform generator startup, testing, commissioning, and homeowner orientationDiagnose and repair generator electrical and operational issuesPerform preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, and service on existing generator systemsInspect electrical systems and complete or recommend necessary upgrades, including panels, breakers, disconnects, and transfer switchesCoordinate installation requirements with other trades and team members when neededMaintain accurate service and installation documentation while ensuring all work meets applicable codes, manufacturer requirements, permitting requirements, and company safety standardsMaintain a clean, professional work environment and treat each customer's home with care and respectWhat We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate:Has a strong customer-service mindset and enjoys building relationships with homeownersCommunicates confidently and professionallyTakes the time to understand a homeowner's concerns before recommending a solutionCan explain the value and benefits of whole home backup power without using high-pressure sales tacticsTakes ownership of the customer experience from the initial consultation through installation and ongoing maintenanceIs highly organized and able to move quickly while maintaining attention to detailHolds themselves to a high standard and demonstrates integrity in every customer interactionWe're looking for someone who is comfortable working with people as well as electrical systems, someone who takes ownership of the customer experience, communicates professionally, builds relationships, and takes pride in quality work.Pay: $23-$28 hourly + commission on generator salesSchedule: Typically Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with additional hours as business needs requireWhy Work for Sunshine?Sunshine Air Conditioning is a family-oriented company that takes pride in treating our team like family.
