What are generative AI video games?

Generative AI video games are games that use artificial intelligence to create dynamic, adaptive, or procedurally generated content such as levels, characters, stories, or behaviors. This technology allows for more personalized and unpredictable gaming experiences, as the game can respond to player actions in unique ways or generate new scenarios each time it is played. Developers use generative AI to enhance creativity, replayability, and immersion in video games, making each playthrough unique.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals working on generative AI for video games, and how can new hires prepare to address them?

Professionals in generative AI for video games often encounter challenges such as balancing creativity with technical constraints, ensuring generated content aligns with the game’s design vision, and maintaining performance optimization. New hires can prepare by developing strong communication skills to work closely with designers and developers, gaining experience with procedural content generation, and staying updated on the latest AI research. Familiarity with popular game engines and a solid understanding of both AI algorithms and player experience expectations are also invaluable.

Job description

About Creatify
Creatify is building the world's first end-to-end AI advertising agent-a platform that automates the entire video ad lifecycle, from scripting and avatar-led generation to testing, optimization, and publishing across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and more.
In just 18 months, we've surpassed $10 million in ARR, serving over 1.5 million users across 10,000+ teams. Leading brands-including Alibaba, HubSpot, Binance, NewsBreak, and Zumper-use Creatify to produce personalized, high-performing video ads in minutes.
We have raised $24M in funding from leading Silicon Valley firms including WndrCo, Kindred Ventures, Millennium New Horizons, NFDG, Comcast Ventures, Creator Ventures, Leadout Capital, Hat Trick Capital, and many more. Check out our latest coverage by Fast Company, TechCrunch, Bloomberg TV, and our recognition as one of IVP Enterprise AI 55 in 2024.
Based in Mountain View, we are a team of passionate AI researchers, engineers, and advertising veterans. Join us in reinventing the advertising industry with AI.
What You'll Do
  • Produce high-quality AI video content for client campaigns, internal projects, and platform demos-concept to final cut.
  • Maintain deep, current expertise across generative video models (Veo3, Sora2, Runway, Kling, Hailuo, Wan, Pika)-know each model's strengths, limits, and sweet spots.
  • Develop advanced prompting techniques and multi-step pipelines that consistently produce usable results.
  • Combine AI footage with traditional editing (Premiere, After Effects, CapCut) to deliver polished final assets.
  • Experiment relentlessly: test new models on release day, benchmark outputs, and build prompt libraries for the team.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director and production team to bring ad concepts to life at speed.
Who You Are
  • 1+ years creating AI video content (professional, freelance, or prolific personal practice) with a portfolio to prove it.
  • Active AI creator and influencer with 50K+ followers on at least one social platform (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, X, etc.)-you don't just make AI video, you have an audience that watches it.
  • Encyclopedic knowledge of current generative video models and a clear POV on when to use which.
  • Exceptional prompting skills-you understand how language and parameters translate to visual output across architectures.
  • Strong visual eye and storytelling instinct-your AI videos communicate, not just impress.
  • Fast, self-driven, and energized by new model drops. Startup pace is your natural speed.
  • Bonus: background in motion design, VFX, filmmaking, or advertising.
Why Creatify
  • Turn your AI obsession into a career-making AI video is literally the job.
  • Access to the latest models and compute before most creators hear about them.
  • Series A traction, growing fast, and your work ships to real brands and real audiences.

If your camera roll is 90% AI video experiments, we should talk.
