Job Summary

The salary range for this position is $244,000 to $260,782 annually. Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, education, and internal equity.

Our stellar and thriving hospitalist program is seeking a part time (0.8 FTE) physician to join our team in a blended Day Shift capacity. Seeking candidates with a minimum of two (2) years' experience as a hospitalist. BE/BC in Med-Peds, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine. Come join our close-knit, patient-centric team of Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Med-Peds and Pediatric physicians providing primary inpatient care for our 140-bed community hospital.


Qualifications

At Cooley Dickinson Hospital our physicians are highly qualified, board-certified providers who specialize in caring for hospitalized adults. They are team leaders within the hospital, coordinating care among the doctors, nurses, subspecialists and other key clinical staff. We also have an 11-bed closed critical care unit, that is staffed entirely by intensivists. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable supervising APPs and working in a dynamic environment.

Highlights include:

  • Shift is 7:00 am - 3:00 pm. Blended role including rounding, admitting, as well as supervision and education of Advance Practice Providers
  • Respond to rapid response codes in the hospital
  • Deliver exceptional inpatient care for hospitalized adults, managing a broad range of acute medical conditions.
  • Partner daily with APPs, nursing, case management, pharmacy, and subspecialists to provide seamless, patient-centered care.
