HVAC Service Technician
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will join a leading HVAC service provider committed to delivering exceptional service to light commercial, commercial, and industrial clients. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a dedication to providing top-notch service while maintaining a safe and professional work environment.
Job Description:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with light commercial, commercial, and industrial HVAC systems, including air handlers, condensers, ductwork, and controls.
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and system performance evaluations to ensure functionality and efficiency.
- Respond promptly to service calls and provide efficient, accurate repairs to meet client needs.
- Collaborate with clients to explain system issues and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation for each job completed.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA standards on all service calls.
- Test HVAC system performance and functionality after repairs to verify proper operation.
- Provide professional and courteous communication with clients, maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and service vehicle to ensure job readiness and efficiency.
HVAC Service Technician Job Requirements :
- 4+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
- Residential experience (5+ years) may be considered
- EPA certification required
- Experience working on Trane and Carrier brand units is a bonus
- Valid NC Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in physically demanding conditions, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
