Romark Logistics is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our Barling facility, an 825,000+ square foot operation with approximately 100 employees supporting both 70-degree and freezer distribution. This large-scale, multi-functional site operates in a fast-paced, multi-shift environment and plays a critical role in supporting key customer partnerships.
The General Manager will have full ownership of site performance, financial results, and leadership development. This is a highly visible leadership role requiring strong operational command, disciplined execution, and the ability to build alignment across a complex organization.
This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned distribution leader who thrives in large, multi-shift environments and is motivated by driving performance, strengthening culture, and delivering consistent results.
What You Will Own
  • Full P&L responsibility and overall site performance, including safety, quality, productivity, inventory accuracy, and cost control
  • Leadership of a multi-layer management team across operations, inventory control, quality, safety, HR partnership, and support functions

  • Optimization of labor planning and resource allocation to meet volume requirements efficiently

Required Experience
  • Eight or more years of progressive warehouse or distribution leadership experience
  • Five or more years in a full site-level GM or equivalent leadership role with P&L ownership
  • Experience leading large, multi-shift warehouse operations
  • Demonstrated success improving productivity through structured performance management and operational discipline
  • Strong analytical capability and proficiency using KPIs to drive decisions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, and experience with warehouse management systems
  • Track record of leadership stability and long-term organizational impact

Preferred Experience
  • Experience in food-grade, temperature-controlled, or regulated distribution environments
  • Experience leading complex operations with high service expectations
  • Experience driving structured change management initiatives
  • Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma practices
