Job description

Connect Staffing is hiring a Converting Operator / General Laborer for a vinyl graphics and converting manufacturer in Placentia, CA. This is a temp-to-hire 2nd shift position paying $19.50/hr. In this role, you will build boxes for shop orders, pack finished goods, and assist slitter operators on the converting floor. Overtime is required, and this is a long-term opportunity with a stable production team.
Pay: $19.50/hr
Schedule: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm must be available Saturday and Sunday; days off vary
Location: Placentia, CA
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Responsibilities
  • Build and erect boxes using a box erector and tape gun to fulfill shop orders.
  • Apply labels and pack materials for finished goods going out of the converting department.
  • Locate and stage raw materials needed for packaging runs.
  • Assist slitter operators with converting department tasks as directed.
  • Keep pace with production flow throughout the shift.

Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months of manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a converting, printing, or vinyl/graphics production environment.
  • Familiarity with slitting machines, box erectors, or packing equipment.
  • Experience in packaging, labeling, or finished-goods fulfillment.
  • Ability to maintain consistent output in a high-volume, repetitive production setting.
  • Experience with raw materials staging or material handling on a production floor.
