Job description

JOB TITLE: General Labor
DIVISION: Structural Fabrication
LOCATION: Rockport, IN
REPORTS TO: Shop Manager
What You Will Do:
The General Labor team member supports daily structural fabrication operations by assisting with material movement, shop organization, production processes, and other tasks needed to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
How You Will Do It:
▪ Assist with moving, staging, loading, and unloading materials throughout the shop.
▪ Support material flow between production operations and work areas.
▪ Assist fabrication and welding team members with general production needs.
▪ Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
▪ Properly use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment as assigned.
▪ Assist with loading and unloading trucks and trailers as needed.
▪ Follow established safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
▪ Complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently to help minimize production downtime.
▪ Communicate with the Shop Foreman and other team members regarding material, production, or safety concerns.
▪ Perform additional general labor and shop support duties as assigned.

▪ Ability to lift, carry, push, and move materials safely.
