Heavy Laborer Tasks & Duties (What you'll do)

  • unload Propane tanks, prepare building site materials, stack building Propane tanks , and set up equipment

  • Follow project instructions from construction manager or supervisor

  • Move materials from one place to another depalletizing insure a good paint job was applied, remove the cylinder from the paint line and remove the bag that protects the cylinder. Then place cylinder on a conveyor

  • Wear headgear, earplugs, gloves, safety glasses, and clothing

  • Complete all assigned tasks in a quickly and safely

  • Assist in building scaffolding and temporary structures

  • Dig, move dirt, or compact space

  • Provide assistance to contractors (i.e. craft workers, electricians, painters) as needed

  • Clean and clear debris and hazardous materials

  • Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly

Heavy Laborer Shift Info

  • 1st shift, 6:00 am to 4:40 pm $17.50

  • Monday - Thursday

  • 2nd shift, 6:00 pm to 4:30 am $18.50

Heavy Laborer Qualifications (Requirements/Skills)

  • Heavy Laborer experience preferred

  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

  • Able to pass a background check

  • Able to work in the US

  • State licensure to work with hazardous materials preferred but not required; union certification preferred but not required

  • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 -50 pounds

  • Must be comfortable working at elevated levels

  • Positive attitude and work ethic

  • Able to work independently or as an active member of a team

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management

  • English and Spanish fluency a plus

  • Able to pass a backgroundcheck

  • Able to work in the US
