About the Role
GNS Electric Inc. is seeking an experienced and driven Electrical Superintendent to oversee and manage field operations for commercial, industrial, and transportation electrical projects across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
The Electrical Superintendent will play a key leadership role in coordinating field personnel, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring that electrical installations are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and electrical codes.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with extensive field experience, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage daily field operations for electrical construction projects
  • Supervise and coordinate foremen, electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and within budget
  • Review and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications
  • Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, and general contractors
  • Plan and manage manpower allocation, jobsite logistics, and material deliveries
  • Conduct jobsite safety meetings and enforce OSHA and company safety policies
  • Perform regular site inspections and quality control checks
  • Monitor project progress and address technical or operational issues in the field
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and workflow coordination
  • Mentor and train electricians, helping develop the next generation of field leaders
  • Maintain clear communication with company leadership regarding project updates
  • Ensure all installations comply with NEC, OSHA regulations, and local electrical codes
Qualifications
  • Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician License preferred
  • 5+ years of experience supervising commercial or industrial electrical projects
  • Proven ability to manage multiple crews and large-scale electrical installations
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • NEC
    • OSHA safety standards
    • Commercial and industrial electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
  • Experience with construction scheduling and jobsite coordination
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working on:
