About the Position

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a seasoned construction professional ready to step into executive project oversight. As a Project Executive, you will lead multiple large-scale, complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects while working closely with senior leadership to drive operational excellence, profitability, and team development.

You will play a critical role in delivering municipal and industrial projects, owning everything from client relationships and contract execution to financial performance and team leadership. This role is ideal for a proven Senior Project Manager or current Project Executive seeking greater influence, visibility, and career progression into company leadership.

Requirements

Experience & Leadership

  • Extensive experience delivering water and wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) and water infrastructure projects
  • Proven success managing complex, high-value municipal or industrial construction projects
  • Demonstrated leadership overseeing scope, schedule, budget, risk, and client relationships
  • Experience mentoring and developing project teams

Technical Expertise

  • Deep knowledge of MEP systems, piping, process equipment, controls, electrical, civil, and structural components
  • Strong command of construction processes, scheduling, documentation, and project controls
  • Expertise in project financial management (budgeting, forecasting, cost control, change management)
  • Thorough understanding of contracts (AIA, EJCDC) and fiduciary responsibility

Execution & Operations

  • Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining schedule and profitability
  • High proficiency in end-to-end scheduling (Microsoft Project or Primavera P6)
  • Experience with procurement, buyout, and long-lead equipment coordination
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks, develop solutions, and ensure accountability
