Our client is an established Alberta general contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex commercial construction projects. As they continue to grow, they are looking to connect with experienced Commercial Construction Project Managers who are passionate about delivering quality projects, building strong relationships, and being part of a collaborative team.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and enjoys taking ownership of projects from pre-construction through completion.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial construction projects through all phases, including pre-construction, execution, and closeout
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
  • Coordinate with owners, consultants, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal project teams
  • Lead project meetings, maintain clear communication, and ensure alignment across all stakeholders
  • Manage procurement, tendering, contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
  • Support project planning, risk management, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to a high standard of quality
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects
  • Experience working with a general contractor in an ICI environment
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, scheduling, and project controls
  • Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documents
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • A collaborative, accountable, and hands-on approach to project delivery
