PERFORMANCE DETAILS:
Position Summary:
The AI Analyst will support Generative AI initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve business processes through the effective use of AI productivity tools. Working closely with the Generative AI Product Owner/Product Manager, this role will assist in evaluating AI use cases, documenting business requirements, testing AI solutions, and supporting adoption across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities where Generative AI can improve productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Support the Gen AI Product Owner/Product Manager in gathering, documenting, and prioritizing business requirements.
  • Evaluate and test AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, and other approved AI platforms.
  • Develop and refine prompts to improve AI-generated outputs and business workflows.
  • Document AI use cases, business processes, and best practices.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation of AI solutions.
  • Analyze existing workflows and recommend opportunities for automation and process improvement.
  • Track adoption metrics and gather user feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Develop presentations, training materials, and documentation to support AI initiatives.
  • Stay current on emerging Generative AI capabilities and recommend new business applications.
Required Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Technology Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
  • Experience using Generative AI productivity tools in a professional environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Azure OpenAI, GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Claude, Gemini, or similar AI platforms.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, or other reporting/analytics tools.
  • Experience supporting digital transformation or innovation initiatives.
  • Utility or other regulated industry experience is a plus.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
