Job Summary:
Responsible for building membership in Geisinger Gold Health Plan through effective phone sales efforts. Assist in managing call flow by adhering to the standard process of updating and/or creating prospect records. Schedule home and group visits, and order literature. Utilize Pennsylvania State Licensure to assist prospects in comparing programs, and to achieve membership growth. Acts as liaison between other the Health Plan departments, clients, prospects and brokers to fulfill sales and service objectives.
Job Duties:
Hours: Monday - Friday 11:30am - 8:00pm
  • Increases membership through effective sales.
  • Answers incoming calls.
  • Provides specific plan information, answers questions and provides direction to prospects and clients.
  • Schedules home and group visits.
  • Orders literature as required.
  • Ensures departmental and CMS compliance by following policies and procedures.
  • Utilizes scripts as required to ensure consistent call handling.
  • Participates in outbound initiatives when required.
  • Participates in retention campaigns when required.
  • Handles walk in prospects.
  • Meets or exceed predetermined membership and enrollment goals and appointment setting goals.

Work is typically performed in an office environment. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.
