Assistant Restaurant Manager Needed in Waldorf, Maryland


Compensation & Schedule

Base salary up to $70,000, based on experience

Schedule: 5-day work weeks | 1 close per week

The Role

This is a floor-level leadership position at a high-volume seafood concept where operational consistency and genuine hospitality drive the guest experience. You will work alongside the General Manager to keep daily operations running at full strength — front and back of house.


What You'll Do

  • Support daily FOH and BOH operations to deliver consistent service and food quality
  • Coach and develop hourly team members to established performance standards
  • Assist in managing labor and food costs to hit financial targets
  • Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and ongoing training
  • Enforce food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety protocols
  • Resolve guest concerns quickly and with care


What You Bring

  • 2+ years of management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
  • Strong ability to lead, motivate, and retain hourly teams
  • Working knowledge of labor management and cost controls
  • ServSafe certification or equivalent preferred
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
