What impact you’ll make

As a student of the Top Issues Services Team, you will be an active contributor to the improvement of Fleet wind turbine's reliability and safety.

What you’ll do (Job Responsibilities)
  • Own the implementation of retrofits into the Wind Turbine fleet
  • Early engagement with engineering team to understand the engineering fix and the validation of the process
  • Ordering of parts and following up with global supply chain to ensure no delays
  • Establish of execution strategy and supplier selection
  • Ensure safety and quality of execution teams
  • Facilitate feedback to engineering as program matures with any issues
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
  • Good understanding and familiarity with excel, ppt and other MS Office teals
  • Basic Understanding of engineering principles, electrical, mechanical and controls
  • Good understanding of program management, from parts ordering to installation in Wind Turbine
  • Current enrollment in undergrad or graduate degree.

The pay for this position ranges from $21.00/hr - $36.00/hr based on years of undergraduate/graduate field of study completed.

  • Relocation Assistance: Co-op/Interns will be reimbursed for reasonable, proper, and documented expenditures incurred while initially reporting to work and returning to school/home upon completion of the assignment. Employees with a permanent address greater than 50 miles away from the work location are eligible.
  • Housing Allowance: Co-op/Interns employees receive a weekly housing allowance to help off-set living expenses when the co-op/Intern’s permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location.
  • Employee Assistance Program, providing 24/7 confidential assessment, counseling and referral services.
  • GE Vernova Retirement Savings Plan (RSP) after their accumulated service reaches 90 days, and they meet any other eligibility requirements as defined in the plans. (Eligibility occurs on the 1st of the month following the 90th day.)

The pay range for this position is $1,000-$2,000 USD weekly. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
