Job description

Join Our Team as a Veterinary Surgeon at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists - NASA Parkway
Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists (GCVS) is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Surgeon to join our newly opened, state-of-the-art hospital in Webster, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a growing surgical service within a hospital that is already operational and building strong referral relationships and caseload.
At GCVS, we're committed to clinical excellence, innovation, and a highly collaborative approach to specialty care. We're looking for a surgeon who is excited not just to practice, but to help shape and grow a service within a supportive, well-resourced environment.
About the Opportunity
Our NASA Parkway hospital is fully equipped with advanced technology, including CT, digital radiography, ultrasound, and more, supporting a wide range of soft tissue and orthopedic procedures. You'll work alongside an engaged team of Emergency clinicians, internists, and a boarded sports rehabilitationist providing services such as hydrotherapy, orthobiologics, nerve blocks and epidurals, and acupuncture with an eye on future modalities such as PEMF, cryocompression, and NMES/TENS. The addition of specialists in areas of critical care, radiology, and oncology is also under development. This collaborative environment supports efficient case management, strong perioperative care, and the ability to build a robust and diverse surgical caseload.
You'll also benefit from close collaboration with the broader GCVS network, including access to 14+ specialties including anesthesia and a well-established referral base throughout the region.
Why This Role Stands Out
  • Join a newly opened hospital with growing caseload and strong referral demand
  • Opportunity to build and shape the Surgery service
  • Work alongside a collaborative ER and specialty team
  • Backed by the reputation and resources of GCVS

What We Offer
