MCPP - Supply Supervisor

Program Summary

The Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP) is based in Jacksonville, Florida. We provide maintenance and logistic services to the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) in support of this program. For over 35 years we have planned, coordinated, and executed the maintenance and logistic services for ground combat vehicles and support equipment for USMC Expeditionary Forces.

Job Summary

Manages the day-to-day operations, including coordinating the activities of employees performing Supply Chain functions (requisition management, material/property accounting, financial compliance, and disposing of equipment and supplies) in direct support of the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP). Responsible for executing the logistics actions necessary to accept, account for, and prepare equipment for shipment by supervising data entry personnel who are performing a wide variety of supply chain duties to obtain the maximum use of equipment and personnel in a safe environment.

Determines the type and sequence of work assigned on the basis of work priority and availability of inventory and supplies. Inspects work performed to ensure compliance with established procedures and time schedules. Coordinates with Government Quality Assurance Representatives and other Managers/ Supervisors to ascertain compatibility of procedures among various organizations or branches engaged in logistics support and to ensure a close integration of operations. Ensures compliance with administrative and government regulations.

Roles and Responsibilities

Duties include requirements planning, analysis, inventory records management, stock replenishment, allowance item management, property accountability, DASF management, report analysis, project development, report and brief metrics, prepare/document instructions and procedures in strict compliance with local procedures, Statement of Work and Marine Corps directives.

Basic Qualifications

BA/BS degree with a major study in logistics engineering, property control/inventory, supply management, accounting or related field.

In lieu of a degree, a combination of college credit, other formalized training or education, and directly related work experience may be considered.

Five (5) years of progressive work experience in a Supply Chain environment.

Two (2) years of supervisory experience.

Must be a US Citizen. Proof required.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, and Share Point

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Valid Driver's License.

Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position.
