Pay Rate: $425 -550 per 8-hour shift

Number of Positions: 1

Travel: All Inclusive

EMR: Cerner

Schedule: PRN/Per Diem schedule with the flexibility to pick up shifts, as well as a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

  • Work together with the dentist to meet the oral health needs of the patient. Provide a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. Handles a variety of clinical duties for dental office operations. These duties range in complexity and skill, and all aspects of the job require an exceptional level of customer service skills and a strong commitment to working well with patients, doctors, dental assistants, and other dental office team members. Job Responsibilities: -GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment operation may be required. -Provide oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which they work. -Apply fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line. -Provide nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease. -Record and review patient medical histories. -Uphold office policy including HIPAA & OSHA. -Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. -Order and keep track of inventory as needed. -Other duties as assigned. Work Environment: -This job operates in a medical/clinical environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, x-rays, and phones. -This job operates in a well-lighted, sterile environment. Employees must wear gloves, masks, protective eye wear, and clothing to protect themselves and their patients from infectious disease. Physical Demands: -The employee frequently is required to talk and hear; stand and/or sit for long periods of time; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. -While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to blood and blood-borne pathogens and/or physical risks, which will require OSHA training. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • One (1) year of hands-on experience as a hygienist
  • GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment operation experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • One (1) year of hands-on experience as a hygienist

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS 

  • CPR
  • X-ray training or certification

LICENSURE REQUIREMENT 

  • Hold a current state-issued Dental Hygiene license.
