Job Title: Gasket Materials Coordinator
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Goldsboro, NC
Pay: $15 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-5pm
Job Summary:
The Gasket Materials Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, organizing, and managing gasket materials to support production operations. This role ensures materials are received, inventoried, staged, and distributed accurately while maintaining inventory levels and supporting manufacturing schedules. The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing, warehouse operations, inventory control, and material handling, with the ability to operate forklifts and maintain accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities:
· Coordinate the receipt, storage, staging, and distribution of gasket materials to support daily production schedules.
· Pull, package, and deliver materials to production workstations according to work orders.
· Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP systems, inventory software, or manual logs.
· Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
· Receive and inspect incoming materials for accuracy, quality, and damage.
· Load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
· Label, organize, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
· Monitor inventory levels and notify purchasing or supervisors of low stock or replenishment needs.
· Verify material specifications and part numbers before issuing materials to production.
· Assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma or GED required.
  2. Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, inventory control, or material coordination preferred
  3. Excel- must be able to pass an excel test as part of your interview
