Job SummaryProcesses outgoing gasket and bolt shipments. This includes pulling and packing orders. Operates forklift, Saw and Gasket making equipment. Processes incoming stock and puts away in designated locations. Keeps shop clean. May perform other duties as assigned by Warehouse Supervisor or Branch Manager.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Packs and ship gaskets as requested by customer.
  • Pull & Pack orders for outgoing.
  • Processes Inbound Transfers, UPS, FedEx or any incoming freight to be received.
  • Puts stock up on designated locations/shelving and maintains daily inventory.
  • Performs daily jobs for Gaskets and Stud Bolts required by Clients.
  • Assembles boxes for shipments and monitors daily any boxes staged and due but not shipped.
  • Load all trucks with out-going freight.
  • Keep Will Call area organized and current.
  • Cross training required on all warehouse operations.
  • Monitor propane tanks ensuring capacity is maintained and coordinate with supervisor to get tanks filled when necessary.
  • Pick from location listed on pick ticket making sure to verify that length and diameter as well as material is correct before packaging.
  • Palletize orders with more than five (5) boxes.
  • Advise sales of any shortage’s online items.
  • Mark each line item with box # and ensure line item corresponds to marking on the box or boxes.
  • Maintain a neat clean work environment; pick up any box packing and tear off box flaps as you go.
  • Perform other tasks as required to meet on-time delivery of customer orders which may include any other warehouse function not listed above.

  • Ability to understand verbal and written instructions/documents.
  • Has basic computer capabilities and is proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work with a team.
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Experience
  • 1-3 years warehouse and shipping experience preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push/pull.
  • Continuous standing and/or walking.
  • Works frequently with weight of 10 – 50 lbs. and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. independently.
  • Ability to work in an ever-changing work environment including but not limited to cold, hot, and/or dusty environment, as well as noisy conditions.
