What You'll Do:

  • Prepare generator location and set generator pad and generator. 
  • Install natural gas and liquid propane (LP) piping systems for standby generators.
  • Read and interpret technical specifications to ensure proper pipe sizing based on BTU requirements and pressure drops.
  • Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications using tools such as saws, cutting torches, and pipe threading machines.
  • Ensure all work meets local mechanical and fuel gas codes (IFGC/IRC).
  • Perform pressure tests on new and existing gas lines to ensure system integrity and safety.

What You'll Bring:

  • 2+ years of construction or gas line installation experience
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical documents and service manual
  • High level of craftsmanship and attention to detail
  • Valid driverโ€™s license
