Job description

Consolidated Pipe & Supply is a full-line supplier, fabricator, and manufacturer of pipe, valve, and fitting products and services for natural gas, waterworks, energy, and industrial sectors.

Summary:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the water and sewer industry. Must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines. As an Estimator, you will prepare, review, and present estimates primarily for Water/Wastewater Treatment project proposal activities. In this role, you will provide estimating assistance and guidance to projects, develop conceptual estimates, and perform cost analysis.


Essential Functions/Duties:

  • Ability to perform accurate material takeoffs for a Complete PVF List of material
  • Reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting contract specifications and drawings

-Track incoming project addendums and make necessary changes to the list of material

  • Interact with contractors or engineers when called upon to assist with clarifications
  • Work with project tracking software
  • Crosscheck finished product

Qualifications:

  • 2+ yearโ€™s experience in drafting or estimating in the piping industry preferred
  • Candidates must possess a strong work ethic with attention to detail
  • Team oriented
  • Excel experience
  • Strong Communication skills
