About the Role

The Water Meter Installation Supervisor reports to the Operations Manager at Bermex. This position will play a key role in interacting with customers, holding knowledge of industry standards, interfacing with management from within and outside of the department, and leading special initiatives in the water meter services department. This position requires a high degree of water meter knowledge, excellent time management, and exceptional interpersonal communication skills.

What You'll Do

  • Water Meter Installation Supervision
    • Identifies, investigates, and resolves issues ensuring deadlines are met
    • Partners with customers, managers, utility, or other personnel to ensure customer satisfaction with ongoing communication, cooperative problem management, and regular feedback on goal achievement or obstacles experienced
    • Works with Manager and other leaders to identify and address inefficiencies and opportunities for cost reduction
    • Explain and demonstrate work tasks to new workers or assign training tasks to experienced workers
    • Recommends or implements personnel actions, such as employee selection, evaluation, rewards, or disciplinary actions
    • Recommend and implement measures to improve worker motivation, equipment performance, work methods, or customer services
    • Requisitions needed personnel, supplies, equipment, parts, or repair services
  • Meter Services Assistance
    • Drives vehicles or equipment to complete work assignments or to assist workers
    • Interprets transportation regulations, safety regulations, or company policies and procedures for workers

    • Resolves worker problems or collaborate with employees to assist in problem resolution
