SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The Quality Control / Hardware position is responsible for aiding in the quality check process of raw materials for our Chrome Hearts apparel as well as the manual addition of Chrome Hearts custom hardware onto apparel noted by the work order.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Handle and inspect blank pieces of apparel as raw materials.
  • Reference garment spec sheets and physically measure garments to ensure correct grading and quality control.
  • Install silver grommets and other hardware on pullover hoodies.
  • Identify and separate any garments that do not meet quality standards.
  • Properly package garments and return them to their designated storage.
  • Fold garments in bundles by count (sweaters, sweats, leggings).
  • Mark hoodies for accurate hardware placement.
  • Apply iron-on fusing material to hoodies at marked locations.
  • Create puncture holes and secure silver grommets onto hoodies.
  • Maintain organized production processes and track inventory counts.
  • Assist the team in meeting daily and weekly production goals.
  • Maintain a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive routine.
  • Keep the work area clean and orderly while following safety protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Some experience in packaging preferred. Candidates are expected to learn all responsibilities in an adequate time frame
  • Basic iron application skills
  • Must be able to work well with others and have excellent communication skills
  • Ability to handle a physical workload
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Eager to take on responsibility with a personal sense of accountability

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time, some sitting, some walking. Employees will be expected to repeat much of the physical motions throughout the shift that may include use of their feet, legs, arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers. This work will involve a variety of hand operations requiring a high degree of manual dexterity and close visual attention. The employee must be able to carry and/or lift up to 50 lbs if needed.
