Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Inside Sales Product Specialist is a trusted advisor to Rubber Fab’s Customers. The Product Specialist is responsible for providing front line service to our customers, which will deliver insight into our industry, as well as provide answers to their questions, and solutions to their challenges. The role provides support from initial contact with a customer/partner through the receipt of an order, facilitating an order process that is easy for our customers. This position reports to the Inside Sales Manager.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Committed to being the face and voice of Rubber Fab.

• Manages inbound calls with a strong bias to convert opportunities into sales. Initiates outbound calls to existing customers to expand sales through consistent interaction and by introducing new products and services.

• Aligns with and collaborate on business teams strategies. Understanding account trends, advise changes within accounts, and coordinate quotes and sales opportunities with sales managers and customers/distribution partners to drive future growth.

• Builds rapport and trust with our business partners by having in depth knowledge of Rubber Fab products and services. Has the ability to answer typical technical questions about Rubber Fab products and common applications. Understanding of basic drawings and specifications to enhance understanding of customer needs. Ability to understand market factors to both anticipate/identify customer challenges and needs, and can recommend appropriate solutions, and overcome objections.

• Performs contact review; understands the customer’s expectations, and internal Rubber Fab processes.

• Manages competitive quote/formal proposals, closing opportunities at a high rate. Reviews incoming quotes and requests missing/additional/clarifying information, and/or documentation. Follow-up on all submitted quotes. Deliver qualified leads and opportunities to Outside Sales where appropriate.

• Utilize available business tools to best assist customers and business partners.

• Participates in educational opportunities to expand product knowledge and sales skills. Builds an understanding of profitability, pricing models, and operational efficiency.

• Consistent use of Trade Compliance to adhere to trade regulations.

• Works cooperatively with other Rubber Fab departments. Attends and participates in meetings and other Rubber Fab functions. Acts as a champion of collaborative efforts between support teams within Rubber Fab.

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or Demonstrated Related Experience

Enpro carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors including the background, education, training, and experience required, as well as geographic considerations such as cost of labor, and applicable local and state laws. These considerations can cause offered compensation to vary. The hiring range for this position is typically $66,000 - $85,000 annually and does not come with a variable compensation plan. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. Bonus, gainshare, and/or equity may be eligible for this position. Enpro offers a range of benefits including, but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k) matching, and other supplemental insurance options.​
