To thrive as a Gaming Animation Intern, you need a foundational understanding of animation principles, character rigging, and digital art, often supported by coursework or a portfolio in animation or a related field. Familiarity with industry-standard tools such as Autodesk Maya, Blender, Adobe Creative Suite, or Unity/Unreal Engine is highly beneficial. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively are key soft skills in this position.
