Job description

We are currently looking for a Full Time Gaming Accountant II to join our Commerce Gaming Accounting Sect 1 team located at the Commerce Administration Building working .
Summary:
Performs monthly analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts and prepares monthly financial statements, reimbursement requests, and financial reports for internal and external use.
Responsibilities:
  • Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency
  • Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
  • Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types
- Maintains a clean, organized work area and ensures a safe environment
  • Maintains and promotes professionalism
  • Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
  • Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards
* Maintains knowledge of and follows all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area
  • Ensures accurate financial records for diverse revenue centers, entities or account groups
  • Audits Daily Activity Reports provided by assigned area
  • Records cash transactions daily if applicable
  • Prepares internal invoices and tracks monthly activity
  • Prepares advance Excel schedules to support financial analysis, journal entries and various reports
  • Reconciles general ledger accounts for assigned duties and identifies discrepancies
  • Performs account analysis on a monthly basis
  • Works directly with internal and external auditors along with the accounting managers to ensure a clean and accurate audit
  • Provides facility managers, accounting managers and decision makers with complete financial information such as income statement detail, balance sheet detail and detailed analytics
  • Supports other accountants and performs duties for other accountants in their absence
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
