Sr. Software Engineer in Test

The Role:

As a Sr. Software Engineer in Test, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, integrity, and end-to-end behavior of Logitech's Core and Gaming software platforms. You will build scalable systems and frameworks that verify platform functionality, validate complex integrations, and support NPI readiness.

In this role, you will design and develop intelligent validation frameworks and system-level tooling to continuously assess platform behavior across evolving integrations. This includes building automated validation systems, leveraging AI-driven techniques, and ensuring platform readiness for new product launches.

This role emphasizes building platforms and infrastructure to ensure software reliability and correctness, while contributing to broader software engineering efforts when needed.

Your Contribution:

  • Ensure System-Level Integrity: Create frameworks that continuously verify end-to-end workflows and interactions across Logitech's Core and Gaming platforms.

  • Leverage AI for Intelligent Validation: Integrate AI-powered tools and techniques to automate and analyze complex workflows, improving validation coverage and system insights.

  • Develop Scalable Validation Infrastructure: Partner with automation leads to build modular, extensible frameworks that evolve with platform complexity and product needs.

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with product, platform, and feature engineering teams to embed validation systems into the development lifecycle.

  • Support Product Readiness (NPI): Ensure new products meet platform integration and correctness standards before release.

  • Support Software Development Efforts: Contribute to feature development or enhancements when necessary, integrating your expertise into creating high-quality user-facing software.

  • Push the Boundaries: Think beyond conventional approaches to system validation, continuously driving innovation with new ideas and methodologies.

Key Qualifications:
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • 5+ Years of Hands-On Software Development Experience: Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python or C/C++), with a strong foundation in system design and architecture.

  • Experience Building Validation or Verification Systems: Background in developing systems that ensure correctness, reliability, or integration quality at scale.

  • Familiarity with AI-Powered Testing Tools and Techniques: Knowledge of leveraging AI tools and strategies to enhance system testing efficiency or coverage.

  • Experience with System Integration Testing: Hands-on experience validating complex system integrations within platforms to ensure seamless performance.

  • Automation & Framework Development: Proven ability to build scalable automation or validation frameworks.

  • Problem-Solving and Innovation: Demonstrated ability to identify unconventional testing solutions and successfully implement them to address platform-level challenges.

  • Communication Skills: Clear and concise technical communication skills to collaborate effectively across development, testing, and product teams.

  • Passion for System-Level Innovation: Interest in driving innovation to validate Logitech's Core and Gaming platforms and enhance user experiences.

Preferred Skills and Behaviors:

In addition to the qualifications above, ideal candidates may bring:

  • Experience with validating system-level interactions for desktop or device-level software platforms.

  • Experience applying innovative AI or automation techniques in system validation workflows.

Education:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
