Job description

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Database Management & Data Integrity:

  • Oversee the integrity, accuracy, and security of the casino marketing database.
  • Ensure clean and compliant data hygiene, including NCOA, duplication, and regulatory validations.
  • Campaign file management and vendor transfer coordination.
  • Manage integrations across CMS (e.g., Synkros), PMS, POS, and digital systems.
  • Establish campaign QA standards
  • Own marketing calendar execution accuracy

Player Segmentation, Modeling & Targeting:

  • Build and refine player segments based on gaming behavior, lifetime value, visitation patterns, and predictive models.
  • Develop advanced segmentation strategies aligned with competitive trends in Black Hawk, including:
  • KPI goal setting and ownership (ADT growth, trip frequency, reactivation rate, churn rate)
  • Test and learn methodology (A/B testing framework)
  • Lifecycle marketing strategy (new member onboarding, birthday campaigns, etc.)
  • AI supported clustering
  • Produce accurate list pulls for direct mail, email, SMS, kiosk offers, and loyalty campaigns.

Direct Marketing Program Management

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of promotional and offer-driven campaigns.
  • Budget oversight responsibility
  • Forecasting mail volumes, redemption rates, production and postage expenses
  • Creating proforma and postforma analysis and program recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Casino Operations, and Guest Services to ensure proper offer setup, QA, and tracking.
  • Manage workflows with the marketing team, external mail vendors, and digital partners.
  • Stay current on industry trends, tools, and technologies to enhance marketing analytics and reporting capabilities.

Analytics, Insights & Performance Optimization:

  • Deliver ongoing reporting and analysis, including proforma ROI, reinvestment, offer redemption, theoretical value, and incremental revenue impact.
  • Deliver monthly marketing performance reviews, including program-level analysis and recommendations.
  • Benchmark performance relative to regional competitors and evolving gaming trends.
  • Communicate insights through presentations and data visualizations for leadership decision-making.
  • Forecast modeling support for finance.

Compliance & Regulatory Adherence:

  • Ensure all marketing activity complies with:
  • Colorado Limited Gaming Act,
  • Internal Control Minimum Procedures,
  • Chamonix Casino Resort policies and code of conduct
  • Uphold strict data privacy, confidentiality, and audit-ready documentation practices.

Collaboration, Communication & Cross Functional Alignment:

  • Work closely with Slots, Table Games, Hotel, F&B, VIP, and Finance to develop integrated marketing initiatives.
  • Provide clear communication of timelines, expectations, and data logic to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Support VIP Marketing with analytical tools and VIP reports.
  • Provide performance analysis for all marketing programs, including promotions, events, and entertainment.
  • Support hotel yield strategy via database targeting.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds as needed for event setup or marketing materials.
  • Frequent use of standard office equipment, including computers, phones, printers, and copiers.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy, casino environment with varying levels of lighting and temperature.
  • Occasional travel within the region may be required for offsite promotions or training.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be able to obtain a Colorado Division of Gaming Support License.
  • 2–4+ years of casino database marketing, analytics, CRM, or related gaming experience.
  • Prior leadership or vendor oversight experience.
  • Knowledge of data security, privacy regulations, and best practices in database marketing.
  • Prior experience supporting marketing teams with campaign analysis and player segmentation in a casino environment.
  • Proficiency with Konami SYNKROS or similar casino management systems is highly preferred.
  • Experience with QCI, Oracle Analytics and/or SQL, and advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VBA/macros).
  • Working knowledge of SQL or willingness to train to meet operational needs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability and communication skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Predictive modeling, automation, or AI segmentation experience.
  • Colorado gaming market background
  • Power BI/Excel/Tableau proficiency
  • Knowledge of VIP analytics week and any shift of the day.
