Key Responsibilities:

  • Assit in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analyses
  • Assist in the monthly consolidation process and perform intercompany reconciliations
  • Analyze financial performance, trends, and key business drivers
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes while developing dashboards and KPIs to track business drivers
  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for major balance sheet items
  • Support audit requests and documentation preparation
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy
  • Assist in system implementations or upgrades (ERP, reporting tools)
  • Investigate and resolve A/R and A/P discrepancies by collaborating with sales and operations teams.

Qualifications
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • CPA designation (completed or in progress) preferred
  • 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial analysis, or FP&A
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (Oracle NetSuite)
  • Experience with financial reporting tools (Power BI, etc.) is an asset
  • Knowledge of US GAAP, taxes and regulations an asset
